How to Care after Hair Shaving

You can shave using a safety razor or any electric razor. Never use soap when shaving with a safety razor as it is very drying-use a shaving cream (or a gel with a conditioner in it) followed by a moisturiser to reduce chances of irritation.

If you want to shave around your bikini line, try using baby oil-it’s a model’s trick for quick dilapidation with no rash. Even the slightest mistake can make your hairstyle look awful from being awesome. These are some general characteristics you should look out for in your barber in jersey city.

Hair Tweezing

Hair Tweezing is a temporary method of removing the hair around the eye-brows. Apply a warm pad to the area for thirty seconds before tweezing. Remember to always clean your tweezers with alcohol or astringent and to tweeze in the direction the hair grows. When you finish, use your astringent on the area.

Hair Depilatories

Hair Depilatories are designed to remove hair by dissolving the hair shaft or by adhering to the hair shaft and pulling the hair from the skin surface as the depilatory is removed. They can be classified into two distinct groups: physical and chemical.

The two most common physical depilatories, wax preparations and honey preparations, are applied to the skin surface after they have been warmed. A small piece of muslin cloth is then pressed over the wax; when cool, the muslin is pulled away from the growth pattern. When the wax or honey is removed from the skin surface, it takes any hair found in that area along with it. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s directions when using these products.

Chemical depilatories remove hair by completely dissolving the hair shaft at the surface of the skin so it easily washes off. Always read and follow the directions; many people can be sensitive to the products, so do yourself a favor and do the patch test. Also, some chemical depilatories, even though safe, can feel as if they are burning the skin.

Take an equal amount of the depilatory and zinc oxide (a cream you can buy in any drugstore without a prescription) and use this mixture-it really prevents burning. After removing it, put an antibacterial cream on the area.

Then put facial moisturiser on the area. One word of caution: Never use a depilatory on the face or breasts because that skin is too fragile. Use a product specifically designed for facial skin.
